Huntington: One man dead in Huntington after a shooting around 1:30 this morning
One man is dead and another in custody after a fatal shooting outside a gas station late Tuesday morning in Huntington's Fairfield neighborhood. The shooting marks the city's 18th confirmed homicide and 20th homicide investigation so far in 2017, the second murder in three days, and the third straight day of gun violence.
Wheeling: Police Department responded to a robbery at the Marathon Gas Station at 2110 Warwood Avenue. The clerk told officers that the robber walked in, demanded money, took an unknown amount from the register and then fled on foot towards the Heritage Walking Trail from N. 21st Street
A power outage is affecting more than 2,000 customers in Cabell County. The outage was first reported around 6:45 a.m. Wednesday. There is no word on what is causing the outage.
Route 60 has reopened after being shut down for nearly an hour after a fire at J.B.'s Gentleman's Club in Cabell County. The fire started about 3:45 at the business near Woodland Dr. The fire was contained to the area around the door.

All lanes of I-64 West between the 29th St. and Hal Greer Blvd. exits in Huntington are back open after a vehicle fire. The fire closed one of the three lanes in that area Tuesday morning during rush hour. There's no word on if anyone was hurt in the fire.

Huntington: Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that happened overnight. Cabell County Dispatch said it happened about 12:30 Monday morning at an apartment building in the 1300 block of 5th Avenue.
Crews are working at the scene where a large tree came down along Edgewood Drive. Appalachian Power is working to remove the tree and fix the power lines that came down.

Two people from Mexico pleaded guilty Wednesday to immigration crimes, U.S. Attorney Carol Casto says. Rogelio Herrera-Hernandez, 50, and Jose Martinez-Santos, 30, entered guilty pleas to illegally reentering the United States after having been removed.
Police say a fugitive suspected of shooting at officers in Ohio during a high-speed chase has been arrested. Wooster police say James Schmidt, who's also known as Bubba, was arrested Tuesday evening near Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia, when police spotted him leaving a pawn shop. A woman was with him.
Two vehicles collided head-on shortly after 6 a.m. in the 3100 Block of Greenbrier Street in the Rutledge area. Two occupants were trapped inside one of the vehicles. One person has been transported to the local hospital.

Sheriff's deputies in Monongalia County have obtained an arrest warrant for a man wanted in connection with the robbery of the High Life Lounge. Curtis Goodman, 43 of Morgantown, will be charged with second-degree robbery, according to a press release from the Monongalia County Sheriff's Office.
Emergency crews are on the scene of an accident in the 1200 block of Greenbrier Street in Charleston. The accident occurred shortly after 6:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.

A West Virginia prison employee has been arrested as a fugitive of justice out of New York. Sheriff Fridley says the arrest was made in the Cannelton area of Fayette County. Frank Jones, 46, of Scarbro, was wanted by the New York Police Department.
Charleston: A man was arrested late Friday night after police say he poured boiling water on his wife. A criminal complaint says about 11:15 Friday night, police were called to an apartment on Laura Lane in Charleston. They say David Linsell poured boiling hot water on his wife, causing second or third degree burns on her neck, shoulder and back.
