Part of a road in Dunbar is shut down due to a structure fire. Dispatchers tell us the 4100 block of Washington Street West is closed Saturday night. They say it's a working structure fire.
The entrance and exit ramps of I-64 East are closed at MacCorkle Ave. in South Charleston after a semi overturned. It happened a little before 4:30 Friday morning. Crews are working to get the driver out. There's no word on injuries.
A traffic alert out of Dunbar Thursday morning involving a large hole. The 300 block of 24th Street is closed because of a sinkhole.
Huntington Police on scene of city's 15th homicide this year
Sheriff's deputies in Monongalia County have obtained an arrest warrant for a man wanted in connection with the robbery of the High Life Lounge. Curtis Goodman, 43 of Morgantown, will be charged with second-degree robbery, according to a press release from the Monongalia County Sheriff's Office.
Emergency crews are on the scene of an accident in the 1200 block of Greenbrier Street in Charleston. The accident occurred shortly after 6:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.
A woman is dead after being hit by a train in Kanawha County. Dispatchers say it happened at the Coalburg Crossing in East Bank
A West Virginia prison employee has been arrested as a fugitive of justice out of New York. Sheriff Fridley says the arrest was made in the Cannelton area of Fayette County. Frank Jones, 46, of Scarbro, was wanted by the New York Police Department.
Charleston: A man was arrested late Friday night after police say he poured boiling water on his wife. A criminal complaint says about 11:15 Friday night, police were called to an apartment on Laura Lane in Charleston. They say David Linsell poured boiling hot water on his wife, causing second or third degree burns on her neck, shoulder and back.

A sharp eye from a Kanawha County Deputy may leave a man facing charges related to two stolen vehicles. Thursday morning a deputy spotted a vehicle that had been reported stolen from South Charleston, a 2016 Buick Encore in the 400 block of Hampshire Drive in Jefferson.
Two brothers are facing charges Wednesday after an attempted murder in the Victor area of Fayette County. Fayette County Sheriff's deputies say Michael Todd Johnson, 40, and Joshua Wayne Johnson, 22, were arrested Wednesday after the incident on Saturday.

Charleston, West Virginia shooting at Red Oak St: no casualities
Charleston: At least 3,000 people are without power on Oakhurst Drive, according to Appalachian Power. Metro 911 says Oakhurst Drive is closed Saturday night due to downed power lines
Charleston: Sheriff's Deputies are actively searching for an individual along Evergreen St. in Charleston. As of right now it is unknown if the person they are looking for is related to the home invasion along Albert St. That incident left one person dead, three others with gunshot wounds. A Charleston Police officer was also hit by the gunfire. He was wearing a bullet-proof vest and is expected to be okay.
Huntington: Police has released the name of a man who died after the wheelchair he was in was hit by a vehicle. Bobby Smith Jr., 53, died Wednesday evening while he was crossing the road on the city's west end. According to police, Smith Jr. was attempting to cross Madison Avenue at 20th Street West when he was hit by an SUV going westbound on Madison Avenue.
Huntington: A man has been taken to the hospital after being shot in the stomach and forearm. The shooting happened about 3:15 Wednesday morning at Rotary Garden Apartments along Smith Dr. off Norway Avenue
Charleston: Firefighters responded to a house fire Monday night. It happened just before 8 p.m. along Washington Street West. According to crews on scene, the home appeared to be vacant. No injuries were reported.
Two employees of a Rand, West Virginia Dollar General store had to be taken to the hospital after an “oily-type” substance is found on money.
Charleston: Police are investigating after a young boy was hit by a car that kept driving. Traffic Commander Chris Burford tells WSAZ a car hit a child Sunday evening and "fled the scene." It happened around 5 p.m. on Oakwood Road, near Overbrook Elementary School, in the South Hills area.

Chapmanville, West Virginia shooting at Saunders Fork Rd: no casualities
A man was flown to the hospital after being shot. According to West Virginia State Police it happened on Saunders Fork Road in Chapmanville Saturday afternoon. Troopers were on scene for several hours after the shooting.

Clay (county), West Virginia shooting at Clay Maysel Rd: 1 killed
All lanes of I-77 North have reopened in Sissonville following a rollover crash that involved two vehicles. The crash happened just after midnight Friday morning. It's unknown how many people were injured in the crash, but multiple ambulances were sent to the scene.
A Putnam County man faces charges after allegedly fleeing from police on a stolen motorcycle before crashing on Interstate 79 north, injuring both himself and a woman riding with him, court records show.
A train has been stuck on the railroad tracks in Point Pleasant since about 7 a.m. Monday. It is causing some major traffic delays for drivers who are trying to get around.
