A man believed to have been involved in a stabbing in Roane County Thursday morning is on the run. The Roane County Sheriff's Department says Joseph Daniels is wanted in connection with a stabbing in Spencer. The victim in the stabbing received injuries that are not considered life threatening.
Emergency crews are on the scene of a house fire in St. Albans. It started about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 200 block of Cody Street. Metro 911 Dispatchers say everyone was able to make it out.
A parole violation ended with additional charges after a search warrant in Oak Hill Wednesday. Brian Wingrove, 33, was taken to Southern Regional Jail for a parole violation warrant. According to Oak Hill Police Department, officers went to a mobile home in the Rosedale Trailer Park in an attempt to find Wingrove.

A Fayette County man is in jail Thursday evening after being arrested on multiple drug charges. Fayette County Sheriff's Deputies say James Canterbury, 73, of Oak Hill, is charged with two felony counts of possession with intent to deliver narcotics and six felony counts of delivery of controlled substance.
A man from Charleston was sentenced Wednesday to two years in federal prison for a gun crime, U.S. Attorney Mike Stuart says. Joe Orville Fooce, III, 44, previously pleaded guilty to possession of a shotgun with a barrel length less than 18 inches and an overall length less than 26 inches not registered to him in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record.
Two juveniles are in custody after police said they committed arson. The Parkersburg Fire Department was called to the 1000-block of 24th Street to put out a structure fire. Crews were able to put out the flames and found the home was vacant. But investigators weren't sure how the fire started.

Police are responding to a shooting in Huntington Wednesday morning. It happened just before 10 a.m. in the 4000 block of Piedmont Road. Dispatchers say a 911 caller reported that he accidentally shot his mom in the face. There is no word on her condition at this point

A man is behind bars in connection to an attempted murder. West Virginia State Police says Jacob Andrew Young is charged with attempted murder, arson and nighttime burglary. According to the criminal complaint, around 6:30 a.m. Sunday, troopers were dispatched to Charleston Road in Walton in regards to a burglary.
